SENIOR PRESENTATION NIGHT Our night of nights is just around the corner! Talbot FNC senior presentation night is scheduled for Saturday September 21st from 6pm at Maryborough Highland Society. Included is a two course meal. Drinks at bar prices. **For any dietary requirements please note these in "Details" on ticket booking.  Tickets are $60 for our guests. For our players, if you have paid your player membership this season, your ticket is included, however we still need you to follow the link to secure your seat!  A bus will be running from Ballarat (City Oval/Miners Rest Tavern/Clunes Hotel/Talbot Hotel) for $30 per person. Our club junior presentation night is scheduled for Friday September 20th from 6pm at Talbot FNC clubrooms. Grab your Cow Lotto tickets here!!  This age old club tradition is set once again to entertain everyone that comes along.  There's never a dull moment from setup to the end of the day, there's always a laugh to be shared. With something for everyone we will have a day full of fun activities for the kids, entertainment for the adults and a BBQ lunch for all. $30.00 per ticket gets you an entry into the Cow Lotto draw and a family day out.  Commencing at 11.30am with BBQ lunch, Live Music, facepainting, jumping castle, auction items, raffles, drinks specials and SO MUCH MORE!!  Cow Lotto will be drawn when the cow is good and ready :) All proceeds from the day going back to support some awesome upcoming projects at the Talbot FNC. Talbot FNC Social Club invites ALL our junior players to join us for a fun day out. Sunday June 2nd, 2024 Bus will leave Maryborough at 9am and pickup at Talbot, Clunes, Miners Rest along the way. - if anyone requires a pickup from Ballarat please let us know and we can work that out also. Plan is to return to Maryborough by approx 5.30pm ***** Please advise when booking where your child will be picked up and dropped off****   $50 per player (Talbot Players) $70 per non player  Suitable for all juniors 8yrs+ Includes - Bus, 1.5hr SplatBall session and Picnic style lunch will be catered *** Any allergies to be notified to Kendall/Caitlyn directly so we can cater as required. Kids can bring spending money for a snack stop at McDonald's on the way home.   Parents will need to sign a waiver prior to the day and return to Kendall McFadyen or Caitlyn Murrell - this will be forwarded as soon as payment is received by email or in person.  The day will be supervised by coaches, junior department managers and team managers.  GOLF DAY FUNDRAISER Get your teams ready to head down to Talbot Golf Club on Sunday April 21st to help raise much needed funds for Johnny Hogg. Teams of 4 - (4 man Ambrose) $50pp includes game, breakfast, and lunch and some drinks ($200 per team) 8am for breakfast Tee off at 9am sharp Other golf activities for all ages during the day. Following the completion of the game, we will head back to Talbot FNC rooms for results, presentations, auctions, raffle draws and late BBQ lunch. Talbot Football Netball Club is hosting a Golf Day event on Sunday 21st April 2024 at Talbot Golf Club.  This event carries special significance as we will be fundraising for a former player and son of a well-respected family in our community, who recently experienced a tragic accident. Johnny Hogg is a former Talbot junior player and son of John and Bernadette Hogg.  The Hogg family have been involved in the Talbot Football Netball Club in various roles for more than 50 years, with Johnny’s sister Bianca currently serving as Junior Netball Coordinator. Johnny and his partner Grace are parents to two children, a boy (6) and girl (4), with Johnny working as a farmer.  Johnny was with friends on the family farm on 3 January 2024, when he struck a submerged rock diving into a dam, resulting in a fracture to his C4 vertebrae, leaving him with no feeling in his arms and legs. The road to recovery is uncertain, with the possibility of Johnny facing life as a quadriplegic. Adding to the family's challenges, Johnny's partner, Grace, has been battling bladder cancer since June 2023. In the face of these exceptional adversities, the Hogg family's resilience shines through, but the financial burden of medical expenses and necessary home modifications weighs heavily upon them. The Talbot community is coming together to support the Hoggs during this trying time. Our upcoming Golf Day event is dedicated to raising funds to assist with Johnny's ongoing medical needs, home renovations to facilitate his mobility, and future requirements, including a wheelchair-accessible vehicle. We thankyou for joining us to support Johnny, Grace and the Hogg family through the challenging times they have ahead.
